Hourly Rate:
At My Commercial Lawyers we work on the following basis:
(1). Fixed Fee/Instruction Basis
(2). Hourly Rate of £300.00 inclusive of VAT
First Example – Written Advice
John wants to sue his ex-client for an unpaid invoice of £50,000. John instructs My Commercial Lawyers to provide written advice on his chances of success. The head of legal practice is of the view it will take 5 hours to prepare the written advice totalling £1500.00 inclusive of Vat which will be fixed with no additional fees for the client to pay for this piece of instruction for the Barrister and Solicitor.
Second Example – Advocacy
John instructs My Commercial Lawyers to represent him at a 1 day trial for the above matter. This will involve (a). preparation; (b). travel (c). waiting time (d). representation (e). attendance note which will be 10 hours totalling £3600.00 inclusive of VAT which will be fixed with no additional fees for the client to pay for this piece of instruction for the Barrister and Solicitor.
